DHBs (District Health Boards)

There are currently 20 DHBs (District Health Boards) in New Zealand. They have existed since January 1 2001. Each DHB is responsible for providing health and disability services in their district. Together, the 20 DHBs are responsible for providing health and disability services for the people of New Zealand.
