Do you want to be more knowledgeable about what is going with your chronic pain and participate more actively in its management, in partnership with your healthcare team? Watching episodes 1 to 7 in this section will show you how to achieve that.

Episode 1 explains what chronic pain actually is, what happens in our body and mind during pain, and the kind of things you can already start doing to get some pain relief. This knowledge alone will make you feel more empowered.

You will get the best results if you follow through the episodes in sequence, taking your time to think about each segment and by completing the activities as you go. By the time you watch the last episode you will have explored many proven strategies for managing your pain and getting back into life.

We would encourage that you take a break after completion of each episode, spend some time, maybe a week in between, working on the skills you have learnt, before going onto the next episode in the series.
