當寶寶開始吃各種不同質地及種類的食物時,規劃每天進食三餐及1或2次點心。寶寶的胃很小,所以需要頻繁的進食而吃少量的食物。

在用餐時間,當寶寶對食物不再有興趣的時候,就結束用餐。專心進食的情況下,20分鐘算是合理的用餐時間,如果寶寶還在開心的享受食物則可延長時間,若不,則縮短時間。

規劃一個時間表將會很有幫助,但是依寶寶的示意也十分重要。如果您認為他們肚子餓了,就提供少量的健康點心。即使您可以等,請別期望他們也可以等到晚上7點才吃晚餐。

如果您知道寶寶在早晨較能有效率的進食,您也可在那個時候提供他們吃晚餐食物。您可以彈性安排!

如果點心時間不是太靠近正餐的時間,您的寶寶較有可能吃健康的餐點及嘗試新的食物。
