All pēpi (babies), tamariki (children) and rangatahi (young people) receiving palliative care have unique needs. Over the course of your child’s serious illness, your healthcare team will support your child’s needs and discuss plans with you.

Palliative care is the care provided to pēpi (babies), tamariki (children) and rangatahi (young people) with serious illnesses, and their whānau (families). It focuses on comfort, quality of life and support for your child and whānau.
