Tummy (abdomen)

Tube feeding delivers liquid feed through the nose using a nasal tube or directly into the stomach with a gastrostomy tube. Tube feeding helps tamariki (children) who are not able to eat or drink enough by mouth. It helps them get enough nutrition to grow.

Gastroenteritis (gastro) is a bowel infection, usually caused by a virus. It causes runny, watery poo and sometimes vomiting. Tamariki (children) with gastroenteritis need to drink plenty of fluids.
