Emergency seizure plan for giving rectal diazepam
This emergency seizure plan gives step-by-step instructions for giving diazepam into the bottom.

Your health professional can fill out an emergency seizure plan with you. Keep a copy on the fridge and with your child's emergency epileptic seizure medicine.

- Make sure your child is in a safe place.
If not, lay them down on the floor, or move furniture or sharp objects. - Start timing the seizure.

- When the seizure has finished keep your child in the recovery position.
