- Wash, peel and core fruit.
- Put fruit in a saucepan and half cover with water.
- Bring to boil and add the honey.
- Reduce and simmer for 10 minutes until soft.
- Sprinkle over cinnamon if using.
- Serve warm or store in the fridge for up to a week.
