- Add all dry ingredients into a bowl, make a well in the middle.
- Add all wet ingredients and combine. Mix well.
- Place on a floured bench and knead gently for 5 to 10 minutes or until it is not sticky.
- Place in a greased Umu or deep baking dish.
- Cover with a tea towel and allow to rise until double in size.
- Cook from a cold oven, set temperature at 150 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes.
- Once cooked, wrap in a wet tea towel and allow to cool before cutting.
Suitable amount for a 20 centimetre Umu or oven tray.
